The ICC Banking Commission produces universally accepted rules and guidelines for international banking practice. With over 80 years of experience and more than 600 members in more than 100 countries, the ICC Banking Commission has rightly gained the reputation of being the most authoritative voice in the field of trade finance.

Supply Chain Finance is the fastest-growing form of trade financing today, and has evolved to cover a wide range of structures and solutions. The ICC Banking Commission has been facilitating a cross-industry initiative together with partners from around the world, to develop a set of terminology and nomenclature around Supply Chain Finance. The panel will share the rationale for and expected benefits of a standard set of global definitions; details of the drafting process and the proposed structure and techniques; next steps in advocating for global adoption.

This session will also give you an update on latest industry trends in trade finance and feedback from the 2016 ICC Banking Commission annual meeting that took place in Johannesburg in April.
