Olga Petrenko is the Market Integrity Senior Officer within the Markets Department at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). She is involved in ESMA work on defining reporting requirements that stem from European regulatory regimes – EMIR, MiFID II/MiFIR, MAR and SFTR – in relation to various types of market data. More specifically, her current tasks focus ESMA implementing measures on trades, transactions, order book, instrument reference data and securities financing transactions reporting.
Ms. Petrenko joined CESR (predecessor of ESMA) in March 2009 from the Lithuanian Securities Commission where she held the position of the Head of the Market Monitoring Division.
Ms. Petrenko received a Master’s Degree in Financial Markets from the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania and qualifications in Economics and Applied Informatics from the Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.
