Innotribe closing keynote: The case for calm technology

Fellow
Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, Harvard University

How can we implement the least amount of technology to get the job done? How can we avoid making the wrong decisions out of fear? The idea behind Calm Technology is to have smarter people, not things. We often forget how quickly the shininess of the new can fade. We can be left with technology that is difficult to support, security issues, and decreased market share.

Amber Case, renowned cyborg anthropologist, will provide an overview of how we can apply the case for Calm Technology to our decisions and processes in a way that helps us make better decisions and free up more time for future thoughts and market share.
