Hayley Sudbury is the founder and CEO of WERKIN. An LGBT entrepreneur compelled by the need for a commercially driven diversity solution, WERKIN's technology accelerates inclusivity in the workplace by challenging the social and cultural barriers at the heart of the diversity talent pipeline debate. Hayley's career began in product development, launching new products for Ergon Energy Queensland, Royal Automobile Club of Victoria and Esanda Asset Finance, an ANZ subsidiary, in her native Australia. Her expertise took her into finance as Head of Global Supplier Management at ANZ Bank, moving across to Barclays where she successfully led the corporate liquidity pricing team. As a thought leader within diversity and tech, Hayley is regular speaker and panellist at some of Europe's leading organisations and conferences. Her recent commitments include a keynote speech to HM Treasury's Women in Finance Charter executive signatories. Her commitment to championing women within the finance sector has seen her shortlisted for the First Women Awards, Women in Finance Awards and Women in Banking and Finance Awards so far this year. As a former Barclays executive, Hayley is well placed to understand and develop solutions to the challenges facing the finance sector and is committed to making organisations more inclusive. She actively mentors young women looking to enter the tech sector, encourages young girls to pursue STEM careers with Founders4Schools and sits on the steering committee of LB Women.
