Di has almost two decades of experience in Asia Pacific leading regional and global teams for the world's global banks to deliver market-leading international treasury and payments solutions for customers. This has included e-payment solutions, product, sales and service teams.
Di joined Westpac as the General Manager, Global Transactional Sales in January 2017. Before joining Westpac, she was based in Hong Kong as Managing Director & Head of Transaction Services, Asia Pacific for JP Morgan and prior to this she held the role of Chief Operating Officer for Citi's transaction bank in Asia Pacific.
In 1999, Di was enlisted to set up Citibank's e-commerce solutions team in Australia, as Citi were establishing themselves globally through the adoption of new technology. In this role Di developed new banking solutions and channels that leveraged technology, including supply chain solutions, e-billing, e-procurement and the start of broader electronic payments capability.
Most recently Di led Westpac's delivery of Australia's leading New Payments Platform, launched in February, 2018. This new infrastructure enables consumer customers to make real-time payments, any time of the day. It is the culmination of three years extensive industry-wide collaboration amongst all major banks, the Reserve Bank of Australia as well as many other industry players. The platform has become a global reference point because of its enhanced capabilities in data, architecture and settlement.
Prior to joining the banking industry Di also held a variety of roles at Hewlett Packard and SAS Institute.
Di is a highly regarded and influential leader in the world of payments in Asia Pacific. She is regularly asked to speak at conferences on topics such as the evolution of corporate treasury functions, payments, blockchain, big data and open banking.
Di holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (Australia) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degree from University of Western Sydney (Australia), Di is a key supporter of diversity and the retention, development and advancement of women in the workplace.
