Stella Clarke is a leading expert in banking technology and operations. She has over 20 years of experience in sell-side and fintech firms across Asia and Europe and has been an entrepreneur in her own right having launched a start-up specialized in spatial analytics.

In 2014 Stella joined Murex as Chief Marketing Officer. In that short time, she has built a strategic global marketing practice that includes product industrialization, product marketing and marketing communications. She was CEO of Crowdradar, between 2012 and 2014, of a technology start-up in Singapore that she both founded and launched, which specialized in mobile spatial analytics and received government funding from IDM and private investors.

Prior to this, Stella spent 10 years at DBS Bank in Singapore in which time she was successively Head of Technology and Operations for Treasury, Markets and Wealth Management and Technology Chief Architect. Stella oversaw numerous successful IT system programs in the Capital Markets and Wholesale Banking business lines and participated in the transformation of the bank's technology landscape. She chaired the Project and Technology Architecture boards and closely associated to the bank technology strategy. She also established CAPS Pte Ltd, a joint venture between DBS, UOB and OCBC to access CLS services where she served as a non-executive board member from 2005 to 2010.

Stella is an active promoter of start-up culture within the tech ecosystem and is a key member of the French Tech steering committee in Dublin. In addition, Stella has recently been appointed to the Conseillers du commerce extérieur de la France (French Trade Advisors to the Minister of Finance), a group of business leaders who voluntarily share their business experience to help enrich the French economy.

Stella is a graduate of ESSEC in France and holds an MBA with High Honours from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
