The Sibos 5K Run and Walk returns to Toronto on Wednesday 20 September. Start your morning with fresh air and iconic views of the city before a packed day of discussions, networking and insights from the conference and exhibition floor.
Sibos participants will have the opportunity to start a busy Sibos day with a spring in their step as the Sibos 5K Run and Walk returns in Toronto on Wednesday 20 September.
The 5K Run and Walk gives you an opportunity to see Toronto and its stunning skyline at sunrise and a chance to forge new connections with the community outside of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC). In previous years, it’s been a highly popular part of the Sibos experience, attracting hundreds of participants before what promises to be another exciting day of conference sessions and networking.
Starting and ending at the South entrance of the MTCC, the route will take you past Roundhouse Park, under the awe-inspiring silhouette of the iconic CN Tower and along Fort York Blvd. This street is a living museum, hosting historic Fort York. Nestled within the urban landscape, this 43-acre archaeological jewel is a connection to Canada's past, housing some of the nation's most remarkably preserved structures.
The course then changes direction onto Lakeshore Blvd. As you turn onto Strachan, the city's architectural variety unfolds before your eyes, showcasing an interesting blend of old and new. Another right turn onto Fleet Street leads you through the urban tapestry of modern Toronto.
Taking a left back onto Fort York Blvd, the route then veers right onto Bremner Blvd. Each step offers glimpses of Toronto's fascinating cityscape until you cross the finish line.
Julie Ravage, Event Production and Logistics Lead, Swift Americas said: “Sibos presents a unique opportunity to learn and connect with members of the Sibos community, but it’s equally important to take some time out and get some fresh air. Exercise is a great way to relieve stress and prioritise mental and physical wellbeing. This event provides a fun break while allowing our participants to experience Toronto’s diverse architecture, picturesque views and unique urban charm.”
Join us for a memorable 5K in Toronto, where every step reveals the city's charm and energy.
