Learn more about the new Sibos #LeadTheChange sustainability campaign, and get involved in the initiatives at Sibos 2022 Amsterdam.
#LeadTheChange is our new sustainability campaign at Sibos 2022, and has three key pillars which guide our event: caring for the community, promoting equality and diversity, and protecting the environment. Working with our community, we want Sibos to become one of the most sustainable events in the world.
A key priority is to partner with exhibitors and participants to make Sibos more sustainable together, so we’re asking participants to help us #LeadTheChange. Follow this checklist and you can have a positive impact while at Sibos 2022:
Bring a reusable water bottle to refill at the water fountains around the venue, so we use less disposable plastic.
Use the recycling bins throughout Sibos week – these will be placed around the event to make it easy for participants to recycle.
When you leave Sibos on your last day, please drop your badge into the dedicated recycling bins close to the exit. All the badges will be recycled as fuel to make cement as part of the Zero Labels 2 Landfill scheme.
With every week long Sibos pass we’re providing a free transport pass, so participants can take advantage of Amsterdam’s excellent public transport, which runs on green energy. Before travelling around the city, you may wish to consult the 9292 route planner or GVB website to help you find the quickest and most convenient way to get from A to B.
Please consider using the Gold Standard scheme to fund environmental projects and offset carbon emissions from your travel to Amsterdam.
Make the most of our paperless Newscorner, which allows you to access newspapers and magazines digitally.
Save even more paper by using the QR code on your participant badge to share contact details, instead of business cards.

Register now to join us in Amsterdam or digitally from 10-13 October 2022.
