Innotribe is SWIFT’s innovation initiative. Since 2009, Innotribe has provided powerful insights on innovation to all Sibos delegates, and introduced them to the emerging trends poised to transform the financial service industry. This year is no exception.
From 29 September to 2 October, Innotribe will explore the fringes of our ecosystem, dedicating each day of its four-day programme to a particular set of phase-changes, disruptions and innovations. This year, the topics covered are crypto-currencies, network effects, innovation capabilities, and the Fintech ecosystem itself.
Our tagline is ‘building bridges’: bridges between core and non-core, disruptors and incumbents, Fintech startup ecosystems and the financial community, and between what’s happening in the InnoTRIBE space and the rest of the Sibos conference.
Peter Vander Auwera, Architect and Content Curator of Innotribe at Sibos explains, “Innotribe Sibos 2014 is all about content, exploring new ways of doing business, and creating immersive learning experiences for our audience. Not by polarizing, but by including. The old world is about exclusion. The new world is about inclusion. Our world is about building bridges, and explores the richness between the extremes.”
The notable list of experts who will address the Innotribe audience throughout the week includes:
Jon Matonis, Executive Director and Board Member, Bitcoin Foundation
Chris Larsen, Co-founder and CEO, Ripple Labs
Jeremy Allaire, Founder and CEO, Circle Internet Financial
Barry Silbert, Founder, SecondMarket and Creator, Bitcoin Investment Trust
Dirk Haubrich, Head of Consumer Protection and Financial Innovation, European Banking Authority
Mark Buitenhek, Global Head Transaction Services, ING
Peter Hinssen, Thought leader and Co-founder, nexxworks
John Sheldon, SVP, Group Head of Innovation Management, MasterCard
Vanessa Colella, Managing Director, Head of Global Venturing, Citi Ventures
Christophe Chazot, Group Head of Innovation, HSBC

Don’t miss these must-attend sessions
Future of Money – 29 September from 9:30-10:30 Bitcoin, Ripple and other cryptocurrencies have been the talk of the town in 2013/2014.
