To capture the full Sibos experience, we are introducing a new Sibos TV format this year in Singapore.
Aimed at making the nearly one dozen conference tracks, hundreds of sessions, expansive exhibition and numerous networking events more accessible to all attendees, Sibos TV will provide a 360-degree overview throughout the week.
Coming to you from multiple studios and roving reporters, Sibos TV will be an invaluable resource, bringing you all the essential news from around the venue.
Your hosts for 2015 – Nadine Dereza and Steven Chia - are both well respected and highly qualified international journalists.
An experienced international business presenter, conference host, award-winning journalist and a best-selling author, Nadine will bring a healthy balance of hard-hitting journalism and lively entertainment to this year’s Sibos TV programme.
Nadine’s co-host, Steven Chia, began his media career in 1999 and is the former co-anchor and producer of AM LIVE!, a Singaporean flagship morning show and one of the Channel NewsAsia network’s most-watched programmes.
Currently, Steven moderates Talking Point, a Singaporean talk-show on the current topics of the day. Steven’s knowledge of current events will serve him well as he addresses the key issues facing the financial services industry.
Guiding you through the day
At 8:30 every morning, Sibos TV will air ‘Good Morning Sibos,’ a fast-paced breakfast magazine programme featuring the events of the day, both inside and outside the conference centre. Offering daily previews, reviews and interviews in a fresh and entertaining formula via a roving camera from around the venue and the exhibition floor, this half-hour feature is the only way to start a busy Sibos day.
Beginning at 9:45, ‘Talking Sibos’ will explore the Sibos event from the heart of the exhibition and will be divided into two parts. The first part, presented by Steven Chia, will feature interviews with delegates and exhibitors from across the exhibition floor, while part two, aired from the main studio on Level 5, will include a panel discussion, anchored by Nadine, focusing on topics of the day.
Between the two sections there will be a short piece on this year’s Art at Sibos project – the Art Walk - featuring interviews with the young artists and their teachers.
For those unable to be in the Plenary room in person, Sibos TV will broadcast the Big Issue Debates live. Make sure you don’t miss global industry leaders tackling the Internet of Things, the impact of geopolitics and disruption on finance, and the internationalisation of the RMB.
You should also be sure to tune in for ‘The Sibos Game Changer’ each day at 13:00 to hear from those at the heart of major developments within the industry.
These sessions will also be subsequently available on the Sibos TV YouTube channel, along with other highlights from the week.
And into the night
To wrap-up each day, ‘Sibos Today’ will provide an intelligent digest of the conference content. Presented by Nadine Dereza, it will feature in-depth interviews and panel discussions.
To help you make the most of your stay in Singapore, the programme will also give you a taste of the rich variety of local culture and nightlife.
Take a look at the full Sibos TV schedule on Sibos.com, or via the Sibos App, and subscribe to Sibos TV on YouTube today.
