More than a conference and an exhibition, Sibos is first and foremost a networking event. It brings the global financial community together to meet face to face for a week to catch up with friends and clients, forge new business relations, and do business. Each year, we strive to make networking at Sibos even easier and more pleasant, so that you truly get the most out of your week.
Lounges
The Sibos lounges have been given a makeover. The Future and Exchange lounge, the largest on the exhibition floor, are strikingly designed to facilitate various networking needs with small tables for private conversations, comfortable sofas for relaxed catch ups, and tables for collaborative work. And to remain available to network digitally, the three Connect lounges have lockable device charging units, so you need never run out of energy.
In addition to the lounges on the exhibition floor, there is also a networking lounge on Level 2 near the conference rooms, where you can relax and meet people in between conference sessions.
Lunches
Don’t just consume. Connect. Join a networking table in the buffet lunch area to meet like-minded delegates around six core topics: 1) Technology, 2) Market Infrastructures, 3) Compliance, 4) Corporates, 5) Innovation and 6) Standards.
Not in the mood to dine and debate? No worries, the traditional seated and buffet lunch areas are still available.
Spotlight sessions
The Sibos TV studio will now be staged in a theatre setting, to allow the audience to sit and enjoy the live talk show with new host Daisy McAndrew. The same studio will be used for the Spotlight sessions. These are Sibos University presentations inspired by the famous Ted talks. Each of the 41 cube seats in front of the TV studio will offer a free brown bag lunch from Tuesday to Thursday, 12:30-13:00, for the lucky ones to arrive there first.
If you missed the free brown bag lunch, or just want to grab a light snack or a quick bite, the Sibos TV studio networking area has a bar that sells light snacks and drinks all day. With plenty of tables for casual lunches and meetings, mark this space on your maps!
5k Fun Run & Walk
Sometimes meaningful connections are more easily made in a track suit than a business suit.
