Sibos 2019 ‘just the ticket’ for fintechs
Central to this year’s Sibos conference theme, ‘thriving in a hyper-connected world’, is the vision and work of the fintech community
This year’s Sibos conference theme is ‘thriving in a hyper-connected world’, breaking down the vast opportunities and challenges presented by digitisation and data-driven relationships for the world of financial services. Central to this digitally driven, collaborative innovation is the vision and work of the fintech community.
Reflecting the growing role of progressive fintechs globally, a limited number of specially priced Sibos fintech tickets are available. The ticket includes entrance to the Sibos conference and exhibition for all four days of the event, an invitation to the Sibos closing event on Thursday 26 September, access to the latest suite of Sibos Tools for networking and complimentary transportation in London.
With 9,000 decision makers and experts from across the financial services world set to gather at the ExCeL in London, Sibos 2019 will be a hub for fintech networking. At the heart of the event, the Discover Zone connects fintechs with senior stakeholders from across the globe, playing an integral role in driving the connections and partnerships that will develop solutions to shape the future of payments and securities.
This year in London, the Discover Zone will be a record 80% bigger than Sydney 2018, with 100+ fintech exhibitors operating across the spectrum - from machine learning and regtech to Big Data and blockchain. Financial institutions, consultancies and the public sector will also gather to showcase their fintechs partners and expertise via cutting-edge ‘innovation hubs’ and tech ‘pavilions’.
Running alongside the Discover exhibition, the brightest minds in fintech and financial services will take to the Discover Stage to tackle the hottest topics around sector innovation and cross-industry collaboration - look out for programme updates to follow.
SWIFT’s Innotribe initiative will also return to the Discover Zone, channelling insights from across the financial ecosystem. Burning issues around data, AI and privacy are set to feature in an exciting four-day programme that will grapple with the new face of trust for banks and their customers in a world fast undergoing digital transformation.
Guiding us along the way is an influential line up of speakers, kick-started by BBC broadcaster and physicist, Brian Cox. Innotribe will also hear from the inspirational environmentalist Paul de Gelder, with Brett King, author of Augmented and Bank 4.0, and Dave Birch, leading digital finance commentator, delivering the closing keynotes.
