Sibos Update

Sibos Summer Snapshot event is coming to London

As anticipation builds for this year’s conference, Sibos will host a free preview networking event on 6 June at East Wintergarden in the renowned financial district of Canary Wharf in London.

The invitation-only evening will feature exclusive keynotes, networking drinks and a snapshot of what’s in store for Sibos 2019, which this year runs from 23-26 September in London. The evening will be headed by special guest speaker Pascal Coppens, an Innotribe speaker, prolific entrepreneur, and one of the foremost experts on doing business in China.

Pascal has employed, partnered and competed with hundreds of Chinese innovators over a career spanning more than 20 years at the heart of the Chinese tech scene. He is a leading sinologist and an expert on building businesses in China, advising widely on the qualities needed to transform good ideas into commercial success in the country. His expertise ranges from artificial intelligence to offline digital community platforms, and is focused around helping technology companies to scale their business and reach key target markets.

Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of the Sibos 2019 conference theme and the trends that will dominate the conference agenda. These include how banks and market infrastructures can capitalise on digital technologies to offer better services, industry approaches to leveraging data to enhance efficiencies, and the ways financial services providers are adapting to shifting geopolitical and regulatory priorities in the digital age.

The event will also explore some of the new initiatives that are being launched at Sibos this year. Attendees will discover how the likes of Talent Thursday, the STAR scholarship, Sibos Spotlight and more will deliver specialist networking opportunities for delegates, as well as new dimensions to the conference programme.

Join us for a summer evening to remember from 17:00 to 19:30 on Thursday 6 June only four months ahead of Sibos 2019. As spaces are limited, please register to request your invitation.
