For nearly 40 years, Sibos has brought financial leaders together to collaborate and make sense of changes in the industry.
Over the next four days, the Sibos conference and exhibition will provide thousands of delegates with an opportunity to engage with industry experts, and to discuss the latest trends and challenges.
On Monday, Dave McKay, President and CEO of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) will deliver the opening plenary address in the John Bassett Theatre, which is located in the Inspire Zone (Level 100 in the North Building).
McKay has been credited with helping to transform the bank’s retail division and will draw on his background as a coder to discuss how he is driving innovation at RBC.
Day 1 also includes the first Big Issue Debate, looking at cybersecurity and digitisation. The panel, including a hacker and an admiral for a wider perspective, will discuss how to create both the trust and the innovation that digital businesses need to flourish.
Be prepared
The preview edition of Sibos Issues includes an exclusive Q&A with McKay and articles on the key topics that will be highlighted in this year’s Big Issue Debates. There are also previews of the four streams that will dive into core industry issues throughout Sibos week, and a comprehensive conference timetable.
Reporting live from the exhibition floor, and hosted by Nadine Dereza and Steven Chia, Sibos TV will cover all aspects of the event. The team will bring you news and views from around the venue, the conference and the city of Toronto itself.
Delegates will be able to watch on screens across the venue and also by logging in to Sibos.com.
