Introducing the Sibos 2018 closing speaker: Professor Genevieve Bell

Professor Bell, an Australian cultural anthropologist, technologist and futurist, will deliver the closing plenary address at Sibos 2018, at ICC Sydney on 25 October 2018.

Professor Bell is a Distinguished Professor at the Australian National University (ANU), a Vice President and Senior Fellow at Intel Corporation, and Florence Violet McKenzie Chair. She is also the Director of the Autonomy, Agency and Assurance (3A) Institute, which was launched in September 2017 by the ANU in collaboration with CSIRO's Data61. The 3A Institute aims to build a new applied science around the management of artificial intelligence (AI), data, technology and their impact on humanity.
