The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) enables most citizens or nationals of participating countries to travel to the United States for tourism or business for stays of 90 days or less without obtaining a visa. Travellers must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) before traveling to the United States.
For details on which countries can submit ESTA applications, and details on the application process itself, please visit: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/.
If you qualify for an ESTA, a visa application (as per details below) is not required.
A visa will be required by some countries to enter the United States of America for Sibos 2020 taking place at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC).
Generally, a citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States must first obtain a visa, either a non-immigrant visa for a temporary stay, or an immigrant visa for permanent residence.
Visitor visas are non-immigrant visas for persons who want to enter the United States temporarily for business (visa category B-1), for tourism (visa category B-2), or for a combination of both purposes (B-1/B-2).
