What is the cost of a Sibos pass?

  • Week-long participant pass (4 days) = EUR 3,200
  • One-day participant pass = EUR 1,400 per day
  • Lunch pass = EUR 50 per day

Please note: A maximum of two one-day passes can be purchased. Participants wishing to attend for more than two days must purchase a week-long pass.

All UK VAT registered companies are subject to reverse charges as per current UK VAT legislation.  HM Revenue and Customs require the VAT numbers of both companies from the transaction in order to comply with reverse charge requirements.  We are not able to process the payment of a UK registered company without the applicable VAT Number. Alternatively, if the UK customer has no VAT number, SWIFT will issue the invoice with the UK VAT added at 20%.
UK VAT is chargeable at 20% for non UK registered companies. Current  EU legislation and UK domestic VAT law demand that VAT is due at the place where the event/conference is taking place. Hence, SWIFT SCRL, as organizer of the conference,  is obliged to invoice and collect UK VAT and pay this to HRMC. Your VAT department or advisors will be able to best advise if and how VAT can be reclaimed.

 

I can no longer attend Sibos, can I have a refund?

A full refund (less a EUR 200 cancellation charge) of the registration fee paid to SWIFT will be made upon written notification to the Sibos Registration Office before 20 August 2019. Please email registration@sibos.com with your cancellation request. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after 20 August 2019. If you register after 20 August 2019 cancellations are not refundable.

I have received a voucher code by the Central Coordinator of an exhibiting company. What do I do with it?

If you have not yet registered, please follow the instructions provided in the email you received and use your CCVK code to begin your registration. On the pass selection page, select ‘Yes’ to the question ‘Have you received a voucher?’ and enter the voucher code. This will provide you with a complimentary week-long Sibos pass.


If you have already registered for Sibos 2019 London, contact registration@sibos.com and provide the registration team with your code.

My company is not exhibiting, what code do I use to register?

You will need to use your company’s BIC or PIC code to register for Sibos. If you are not part of the SWIFT community and are interested in participating, you will need to follow the instructions on the ‘Create your account’ page. 


Once you have submitted a request to register, the registration team will process your request as quickly as possible. If further information is needed, the registration team will contact you on the email address you provided. If you have provided enough information, your request will be passed directly to SWIFT and you should receive a response within five working days. 

What is a BIC or PIC code?

BIC (Bank Identifier Code) codes are required from financial institutions to access the registration site for Sibos 2019 London. Each financial institution has a specific BIC code that can be obtained from the SWIFT BIC Directory page.


PIC (Partner Identifier Code) codes are required from SWIFT registered vendors (Solution, Business, Service and Network Partners) to access the registration site for Sibos 2019 London. If you do not know your PIC code, please contact  registration@sibos.com

Is there a deadline for registering?

There is no deadline to register for Sibos 2019 London; you can do this right up until the event and even register onsite. We do however strongly recommend you register as soon as possible, to make the most of Sibos Tools and to secure your accommodation.

Do you offer a Visa invitation letter?

We do not provide invitation letters for visa purposes. SWIFT can support by supplying a visa support letter to those with a confirmed registration. When you complete your registration the option to ‘Request Visa Letter’ is in the registration summary page. 

Why is my BIC/PIC invalid? How do I register?

You may be entering an invalid/disconnected accreditation code. Please check with your company that you have the most recent code available. If you’re unsure, you may search for company’s BIC code using the SWIFT BIC directory on https://www.swift.com/. Alternatively, you may submit a registration request for SWIFT to review.

When will the Sibos Tools be available?

From early June , Sibos participants can log into Sibos Tools.


Sibos Tools is an innovative and simple way for you to manage your personal information and plan your way through registration, the exhibition, the conference and networking events during your visit to London. Sibos Tools is designed to ensure you engage with fellow 2019 participants and make the most of your experience. Sibos Tools is available via the official Sibos App, on iOS and Android, and through Sibos.com.

Do I need ID when on site at Sibos?

Attendees no longer have a photograph displayed on their Sibos badge, and so will now also be required to show a government-issued photo ID upon arrival at the ICC Sydney. 

The official IDs that will be accepted are passport, driver’s license or national identity card. Please make sure that you bring your photo ID with you to Sibos each day, as if you do not have an appropriate ID to accompany your Sibos badge you will not be granted access.

To help streamline security checks, please remember to keep your badge on, and visible, at all times and always carry your photo ID.

How can I collect my Sibos badge?

The Sibos badge can be collected at the Sibos Hotel where you book a room at the check in process.

Otherwise, the badge can be collected at the venue.

Where can I find the conference programme?

A Conference programme preview will be available on the Sibos homepage in the coming months, under the ‘Conference’ tab. Please note the complete conference programme will be available in June 2019. 

Hotels

Can I book my hotel if I have not confirmed my flights yet?

Yes, you can make changes to your hotel booking online until 20 August 2019. We recommend that you book your accommodation and then you can make changes as necessary via the website until the cancellation deadline. After 20 August 2019 you will be liable for any cancellation or reduction in stay in accordance with the booking terms and conditions.
