Reporting live from a studio at the heart of the exhibition floor, and hosted by Nadine Dereza and Steven Chia, Sibos TV will cover all aspects of the event. The team will bring you news and views from around the venue, the conference and Toronto itself.

You will be able to watch on screens across the venue and also by logging in to Sibos.com. For details of the 2017 Sibos TV schedule, visit Sibos.com.

Big ideas always start somewhere.
Inspirational debates start at Innotribe.

Focusing on “the how” of innovation, Innotribe will highlight how adjacent industries - such as the shipping, governmental, retail, medical and military industries - have solved their innovation challenges and explore their journey as a source of inspiration for the financial industry.

Beat the cyber threat

Cybersecurity is one of the main challenges facing today’s financial services industry. It’s a critical concern for all organisations, regardless of size or sector, with cyber attacks demanding immediate attention.

There will be specialist sessions and workshops hosted at the MTCC for those keen to get a better understanding of cyber threats. Find out more on Sibos.com.

Exhibition

Visit the Canada Lounge to engage with the country’s brightest FinTechs

The Canada Lounge, on Level 600 in the Discover Zone, will welcome 32 Canadian FinTech startups who will showcase their solutions in payments, securities markets, cybersecurity and RegTech.

The startups will rotate throughout the week. Each day, there will be eight in the Canadian FinTech Corner section of the Canada Lounge. You will be able to interact with them to learn more about their offering, and how they may be able to help your business.

Practical information

Don’t forget your photo ID

This year, Sibos is implementing a change of policy concerning badging. Sibos attendees will no longer have a photograph displayed on their Sibos badge, and so will now also be required to show a government-issued photo ID upon arrival at the MTCC. The official IDs that will be accepted are passport, driver’s license or national identity card.

If you are from a country that uses non-Roman characters, such as Russia or China, then please make sure that you bring your international passport, as this contains your name in both non-Roman and Roman characters. This will ensure a smooth ID checking process.
