Celebrating the Sibos community
What made Sibos special in 2019?

Community spirit
It’s no secret that Sibos owes its success to the strength of its community. This year was a record-breaker and wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of hundreds of speakers, exhibitors, delegates and support staff. Read more about who came to this year’s event – the biggest ever – and made it special.

Making a difference
Sibos has been working hard to create a more environmentally and socially responsible event. This year, contributions from the Sibos community made it possible to plant over 85,000 trees, provide 8,000 hours of respite breaks to young carers and transform tonnes of waste into picnic benches for schools. Find out more about the positive difference these actions made to sustainability.

STAR scholarship returns
Sibos travels to Boston in 2020 and will welcome the return of a number of new initiatives that brought the community together when launched this year in London. The first of these is the STAR scholarship, which united 30 women from 17 countries as future leaders in the financial industry. More details on new and returning community initiatives will be announced in the New Year.
