Featuring hundreds of speakers from a range of backgrounds, the 2017 conference will explore current challenges such as cybersecurity, the opportunities around payments modernisation, and the innovative FinTechs who are expanding the reach of financial services.

A world-class venue in a world-class financial hub

As the only venue to have hosted both a G20 and a G7 summit, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) is well-suited to an event of Sibos’ scale.

Toronto itself has a rich heritage and a multilingual, multicultural population. The name ‘Toronto’ derives from Native American language, and the city is a patchwork of former colonial villages, featuring a number of historical sites. The Sibos team recently carried out a site visit in the city – as detailed in the subsequent blog by Sven Bossu, Head of Sibos.

Exhibitor Day 2017 – Wednesday 22 March

Next month, the Sibos team will welcome this year’s exhibitors to Toronto. Exhibitor Day provides them with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the venue and to meet all the key stakeholders and partners.


If you’re attending, please be aware that there have been recent changes to the visa requirements for Canada. Prior to your visit, please review the information provided by the State Secretariat for Migration.
