Conference programme: Exploring the human element
One of our conference sub-themes at Sibos London is ‘exploring the human element’. At a time of unprecedented technological transformation, businesses need to understand how workplaces must evolve to the changes digitisation will bring. It is critical that organisations adapt in order to attract, retain and energise a diverse and skilled workforce. In this brave new world they must also understand the ethical implications of technology on trust and identity. Examples of some of the thought provoking sessions planned on this theme at Sibos are:
- Embracing artificial intelligence: how is AI augmenting compliance practices?
- What's left for the Human after AI & Robotics?
- Protecting Privacy and Instilling Trust in a Millennial World
Read more on exploring the human element in our article, Harnessing human and artificial intelligence to meet evolving compliance challenges, the second in our series which examines each of our sub-themes in detail.
The full conference programme will be available in June. You can find more information on the sessions we are putting together on our website.

Amsterdam to host Sibos 2022
Sibos has officially selected Amsterdam as the host city for 2022. The last time Sibos was in Amsterdam was 2010, when it attracted more than 8900 delegates – the biggest attendance to date! Sibos 2022 will be held at the RAI Amsterdam, one of Europe’s busiest convention centres.
The dates have also been confirmed for Sibos in Boston, which will take place from 5 to 8 October 2020, following this year’s event in London. And looking forward to 2021, Singapore will host Sibos for the third time following successful events in 2003 and 2015. All three cities are dominant financial centres and perfect locations for bringing the Sibos community together for unparalleled debate and networking opportunities.
